As a full slate of Sunday NFL games approaches, let’s look at Remarkable! for one key matchup in every contest…

Bills vs. Panthers

Sean McDermott travels back down to Carolina to face his old team. LeSean McCoy averaged 5.6 yards per carry last season and caught 50 of 57 balls out of the backfield. The Panthers defense will have their hands full, but they are strong against the run, allowing only 90.3 rushing yards per game, 3rd best since the start of the 2016 season.

Bears vs. Buccaneers

After Hurricane Irma pushed back their first game, Tampa Bay looks to come out strong with its young, dynamic offense. Mike Evans will be a big target for Jameis Winston. Evans was tied for second most receiving touchdowns last season with 12. The Bears defense has allowed a passer rating of 96.7 (359 Pass Attempts) since week 7 of last season, 5th worst in the NFL.

Vikings vs. Steelers

Le’Veon Bell accrued just 47 yards last week, but it might be a little easier on Sunday against the Vikings defense. While the secondary is strong, the Vikings struggle against the run. The Vikings defense has allowed 1,387 Rushing Yards since week 7 of last season, 6th most.

Cardinals vs. Colts

Each team would like a mulligan after a rough Week 1. David Johnson is out indefinitely for the Cardinals and the Colts are without Andrew Luck. Jacoby Brissett gets the nod at quarterback this week and his best target will be T.Y. Hilton. Hilton has 1,505 receiving yards since the start of last season, 1st among WRs. Arizona allowed 3,179 receiving yards to WR last season, 2nd most in the NFL.

Patriots vs. Saints

The Patriots defense couldn’t slow down Kareem Hunt and Tyreek Hill last week and it might not be much easier against Drew Brees and the Saints. If you look past a bad Week 1, since the start of the 2016 season the Patriots defense has allowed a passer rating of just 85.7 when opposing QBs have used a straight drop (522 Pass Attempts), 5th best in the NFL. Tom Brady will be able to counter against a poor Saint defense. The Saints defense has allowed a passer rating of 107.2 (276 Pass Attempts) since week 11 of last season, worst in the NFL.

Browns vs. Ravens

The Browns defense looks new and improved and stopped Le’Veon Bell in his tracks, but let’s take a look at what rookie DeShone Kizer has to deal with this weekend. If Kizer is throwing on third down, he will be up against a burly defense. The Ravens defense has allowed a passer rating of just 62.5 on 3rd down (173 Pass Attempts) since the start of the 2016 season, 2nd best in the NFL.

Eagles vs. Chiefs

The Chiefs offense fired on all cylinders in Week 1 against the Patriots. They are no slouches on defense, either. The Chiefs defense allowed a passer rating of just 67.6 on plays in the red zone (93 Pass Attempts) last season, best in the NFL. Carson Wentz has thrown 14 touchdowns on 47 completions (3.4 Completions Per TD) on plays in the red zone since the start of the 2016 season, 2nd worst.

Titans vs. Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars tormented the Texans offense in Week 1. They look to repeat that performance against Marcus Mariota and the Titans. Marcus Mariota was sacked 11 times on 1st down last season, 7th most. The Jaguars sacked the Texans 10 times last week. If the Jaguars can pressure Mariota, expect a Jacksonville win.

Jets vs. Raiders

Derek Carr led the Raiders to victory in Week 1 and looks healthy after a devastating leg injury last year. Carr has always been smart with the ball.  Since the start of the 2016 season, he has thrown just 2 interceptions on 510 attempts when he’s not been under pressure, 2nd best in the league. The New York Jets are one of the worst teams when it comes to interceptions. The Jets defense has tallied 3 interceptions compared to 16 TD passes allowed (5.3 TD:INT) since week 11 of last season, 2nd worst.

Dolphins vs. Chargers

The Dolphins will play their first game of the 2017 season and they will look to get after QB Philip Rivers. The Dolphins defense hurried opposing QBs on 13.2% of dropbacks last season, best in the NFL. Rivers will need to get rid of the ball quickly against the Dolphins on third down. Philip Rivers has been sacked 15 times on 86 pass attempts (one sack every 5.7 pass attempts) on 3rd and long since the start of the 2016 season, worst in the NFL.

Cowboys vs. Broncos

Ezekiel Elliott might have a big game in him in the Mile High City. Elliott has averaged 99.8 Rushing Yards per game on the road since week 7 of last season, 2nd best in the NFL. The Broncos defense has allowed 134.7 Rushing Yards per game, 5th worst.

49ers vs. Seahawks

Russell Wilson will look to have a strong day against a bad 49ers defense. The 49ers defense has allowed a passer rating of 99.2 (352 Pass Attempts) since week 7 of last season, 3rd worst. Russell Wilson has a passer rating of 112.1 at home (164 Pass Attempts) since week 7 of last season, 2nd best. This is all under the assumption that Wilson will have enough time to throw the ball, which he did not have Week 1 against the Packers.

Redskins vs. Rams

Kirk Cousins and Washington dropped a divisional matchup against the Eagles in Week 1. They hope to rebound against a Rams team that destroyed the Colts. Kirk Cousins (WAS) averaged 297.3 Passing Yards per game on the road last season, 2nd in the NFL. The Rams defense hopes to slow them down, but they have allowed a 100.9 passer rating, 4th worst, since week 11 of last season.

Packers vs. Falcons

We expect a high scoring affair in the Sunday Night Football game with Rodgers and Ryan throwing for plenty of touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers threw for 2,329 passing yards in 8 games (291.1 YPG) since week 11 of last season, 3rd in the NFL. Atlanta allowed 276.9 passing yards per game last season, 6th worst in the NFL. On the other hand, Matt Ryan has thrown for 5,265 passing yards in 17 games (309.7 YPG) since the start of last season, 2nd best. Green Bay allowed 280.1 passing yards per game last season, 3rd worst.
