|The Little Things|
Inside Edge’s team of baseball experts chart every pitch of every MLB game played as they happen.
Why we’re good at it:
- Constant focus and management of repertoires for every pitcher.
- Pitch Wiki — an internal site where we log information on pitcher repertoires. This site is constantly updated with information from our scouts, as well as any information picked up from the pitcher himself, his coaches, articles about a particular pitch, etc
- Double-charting of every pitch. More than one set of eyes is on each and every pitch thrown.
- Cross-checks with Trackman version of each pitch. We do this as part of the second chart. Differences are reviewed a third time.
