Masahiro Tanaka had a strikeout rate of 62.1 percent (36/58) with two strikes over the last 30 days of the regular season, tied for third best among starting pitchers (League Avg: 41.0 percent).

  1. Chasing Alex.

Opponents had a chase percentage of 49.6 percent (69/139) against Alex Wood with RISP in the second half, best among starters (League Avg: 31.9 percent).

  1. Stack the Dodger lefties.

Right-handed batters hit just .150 against Jake Arrieta (20-for-133) in the second half of the season, second best among starters (League Avg: .260).
